Referring to Circular Letter WD 1 No. 87/WADIR1/KM/2020 and the Student Graduation Timeline issued by Division 1, the following is the TOEIC Exam Implementation Flow for Final-Year Students.
1. Requirements: Students have never taken the TOEIC exam before. If they have taken it before, for example, for IISMA (Indonesian Islamic Student Association), an internship, or a Joint Degree (even if it has expired), as long as they achieve a score of 450 for D3 (Diploma 3) and 500 for Applied Bachelor (D4), they are not required to take the Independent TOEIC exam.
2. Students will receive technical guidance from the ITC (Exam Organizer) and the Language Education Unit (UPA Bahasa) and online TOEIC briefing via Zoom, YouTube Streaming, and GC, before and after (for those whose scores do not meet the requirements) the TOEIC exam.
3. Students register for the TOEIC exam on the UPA Bahasa website. If they do not meet the requirements due to having previously taken the exam, they must take the exam independently through the ITC (see the flyer on Instagram @upabahasa or on the UPA Bahasa Grapol announcement board, 3rd Floor).
4. Registered students will receive a TOEIC exam schedule and will be contacted by the ITC exam supervisor one day before for guidance. The exam is CBT-based, so it will be administered online. If technical difficulties occur during the exam, students should contact the supervisor directly.
5. Students can view their TOEIC scores via the Google Drive link that will be announced and use the Score Roster (a .pdf file) to register for the LA (TA or Thesis) exam. If a student's score does not appear in the file, it could indicate a violation (according to TOEIC exam rules and ITC decisions). Students who score below the required level or are found to have violated the rules must retake the exam independently.
6. If after the Independent Exam, students still do not meet the requirements, they can apply for a statement letter to take the TOEIC exam twice (attaching the Score Roster file) at the Language and Language Education Office (UPA Bahasa) and use this letter to register for the TA exam.
